Imagine this: you wake up to the cheerful chirping of birds, look out over the impressive mountains of the Gailtal, and immediately feel a sense of peace wash over you. Our apartments are cozily furnished and equipped with all comforts, so you feel at home right away. Whether you come for a summer holiday or want to enjoy winter sports, everything is in place for a relaxing stay.
In the spacious garden you can truly relax. Read a book or simply enjoy the fantastic view of the Dobratsch Nature Park. Fancy fresh bread rolls for breakfast? Feel free to walk to the supermarket / store (closed on Sundays) in our Landhaus. The local baker delivers fresh bread rolls every day and you can get your daily groceries here.
Our village is located in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by nature, babbling water, and green fields. Put your feet in the grass and enjoy the fresh mountain air. It’s truly the ultimate place to unwind.
From Landgoed Vorderberg, there are plenty of options: swimming at the nearby Erlebnis Naturbad, just 500m away, where you can also eat and drink or at the Presseggersee, Weißensee. Cycling and hiking along countless routes, enjoying an Italian pizza just across the border, or taking a trip to Hermagor or Villach. In winter, the slopes of Nassfeld (snow guaranteed) and Dreiländereck are easily accessible. There are also beautiful cross-country skiing trails starting in our village in Austria.
Large cities such as Villach and Klagenfurt are very easy to reach. There is also a train station in our village. All other large lakes in Carinthia can be quickly visited from our house.

Our story
A holiday for you in our dream.
Ever since our childhood, we have felt a deep connection with Austria. The mountains, the fresh air, the sparkling water of the mountain lakes—it always brought us a sense of coming home as soon as we crossed the border. For years, we dreamed of sharing this special place with others.
After four years of searching, we finally found what we were looking for: a beautiful blue house, just as we had always hoped.
We took the plunge and moved from the Netherlands to Austria. After a major renovation, our Landhaus has been transformed with two charming apartments. Here, we want to live together, but above all, we want our guests to enjoy all the beauty this place has to offer.
Relax, leave the daily hustle and bustle behind, and experience an unforgettable holiday in our Austrian dream house.
